Magnet Program
Mid-City is a K – 8 span school with an enrollment of 322 students. It is unique because of its partnership with Trade Tech. College. Students in middle school (6-8) have the opportunity to attend Trade Tech. College throughout the school year. Middle school students have the opportunity to graduate from middle school with at least 30 college units.
Mid-City has a gifted program where students have the opportunity to attend John Hopkins University Summer Institute and take online courses during the regular school year. During the John Hopkins Summer Institute in the summer of 2009, two of our students were among the top scoring students.
Mid-City focuses on providing students with the skills and strategies necessary to compete with college students.
